The 6'1", 300-pound tackle at Fullerton College — one of California's top junior-college programs — posted 2.5 sacks, 10 tackles, and an interception as a freshman. An interception from a 300-pound interior lineman is the kind of stat that makes a position coach rewind.

The weight room

This is where the profile separates. A 650-pound squat, a 600-pound deadlift, and a 395-pound bench are numbers that belong on a Division I strength board, not a JUCO recruiting profile. On film that shows up as a tackle who holds his ground against double teams and resets the line of scrimmage instead of getting moved off it. A 5.1 forty at that weight says the mass moves.

The offer

Shawnee State offered on September 20, and the transfer market for verified interior strength tends to accelerate once the first school commits. Four-year staffs that need an immediate run-stuffer with pass-rush upside are looking at exactly this profile in the December portal window — a JUCO transfer with a full season of production and eligibility ahead of him.

What comes next

A 2.7 GPA is the number Delce and his staff will keep working; the rest of the profile is already built. Programs that want a 300-pound tackle who squats 650 and takes the ball away should have his film in front of the line coach this week.
